The mofo keeps freezing. I’m trying to pinpoint the problem but I can’t figure it out. Something called SideBySide keeps failing, and I’m still trying to figure out what it is.

On a personal note, today is the first day where I feel almost back to normal. I ate some McDonald’s fries and a chicken wrap. They tasted quite good!

Off to watch an old SNL with Hugh Laurie. LOL. Like I’m going anywhere. The TV is right beside me. Time to really look at my dashboard!

I’m scanning right now, but I was able to open a browser AND it worked enough for me to get here. I’ve never had to deal with anything like this. However, while trying to get a data disc of the last 30 Rock and the Rizzoli & Isles finale, I actually burnt a copy that works on my DVD player! I was using Chris’s computer, of course, but since I have to get DVDs to back up shit, I might get extra. Hello, season 2 of R&I!

So this might be me being back to the internet. I’m not sure yet. I’ll let you know.

I’m hoping to find remedies to try for whatever this virus is. For any techie folks, it’s the W32/Mariofev!mem virus. Anybody have any tips for me? Anyone I spoke to about it said it’s really bad. I hope that other tower isn’t so ancient that I can go online without the whole thing crashing. I’d also really like a laptop like this. :)

I have a virus in services.exe and I’m not sure if my computer will recover. I set back to a restore point last week and it’s still infected. I also thought everything was wiped off my hard drive. Nope. They were all made into hidden files.

I hope to be back soon, but I just don’t know. I also don’t have the money to go buy a new one, which really sucks. (Between you and me, I’m probably out of a job at the end of March.)
