It’s somewhat old news now but a few Thursdays ago, I woke up to find half my front street blocked off by police tape. Guess what? Yet another murder within walking distance from my house. Awesome! I didn’t think to get any pictures of my street so I took a picture of a newspaper photo. You can’t see it but my house is off to the right, past the last police car.

And this was Edmonton’s twenty-third homicide so far this year!!

Whale at West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton, Alberta.

I’ve always wanted to look inside the whale’s mouth but never have. Big secret: I rarely go to WEM and when I do, I stay in one part. It’s huge and I’ve gotten lost before.

My cell phone camera sucks, but I tried to take pictures of weird lights in the sky last night. They were too straight to be the Northern Lights. All over the southern sky it looked like little slices of light dancing around.

A shot of some of the River Valley, and a bridge. Which one? Beats me. I should find out.

One of the best shots from the Tegan and Sara concert in January, and it’s not even from my camera because it sucks. The seats weren’t very good this time either.
