Sweet Girl makes me so happy. the most pleasant little melody. i like the lyrics, i like the conversation aspect to it - i like their voices, the three of them, at 1:48 and when Stevie turns to sing toward Lindsey full on at 1:37 i just think, what a lucky man, she giving him her attention while on stage and a sea of people wish they were in his position. at 1:53 i think Stevie & Lindsey’s voices together sound so absolutely right.

that was so long ago, still i often think of you ♫reflecting on those lyrics, i mean. i feel like Lindsey has a tendency to do that, he will slap you over the head in his songs with references to Stevie sometimes. she said goodbye to him first by breaking up with him, took him until he left in 87 to write this and say goodbye to her.

I wish I could go back in time and see a Fleetwood Mac concert. They’ve been great when I’ve seen them lately but the fact I’ll never see a late 70s concert of theirs always makes me sad.
