I’m fine now. I’m even better because I have an appointment with the library on Tuesday. I may not have to go on unemployment! (But I’d like a few days off.) Other than holidays, I have worked for twelve years straight.

I haven’t cried about it in a few weeks, but I can’t promise anything for tomorrow.

I’m always afraid someone will walk in as I’m scrolling through my dashboard, since there is sometimes NSFW pictures. And now to delete any traces of having been on Tumblr. I don’t care if people know. I just don’t want them to find my blog.

My work is a non-profit agency who is funded by several different funders, as well as any money brought in by bingos, casinos, etc. Our main funder is threatening to not give us more funding BUT my boss can’t tell us what happened at the meeting until next week. Great. Fabulous. I don’t think it’s going to be good news; I’m crossing my fingers anyway.

Now, to take my mind off this and my hurt toe, I’m going to wrap some presents. Good thing my shopping is all done.

We’re having what I call “cultural sensitivity training” at work, running from 5 until 7. Yay! I actually asked my boss, “Have we ever been culturally insensitive to anybody?” and she laughed, said no. The lady who runs our ESL class thinks we should take part. At least tomorrow is new Rizzoli & Isles. :) That’ll help me make it through the day. 

Most years I don’t mind but this year, I just don’t feel like it. I’ll be back later. Hopefully not too late.
